Everett Tucker 

Divisional Vice President and General Manager, Hematology, Abbott

Everett is Divisional Vice President and General Manager, Hematology within Abbott’s Core Diagnostics Division.  He was appointed to this role in May 2021.  Everett is leading teams to develop and deliver innovative technologies to improve patient care.

Since joining Abbott in 2015, Everett has held two other global leadership positions in Core Diagnostics: DVP Operations Strategy and Engineering, and DVP, Instrument Operations.

Prior to joining Abbott, Everett held different roles at General Electric (GE), Honeywell, Kimball Electronics & CAE Healthcare. 

Everett is the Executive Committee Chair for Abbott’s Black Business Network, which sponsors professional development programs that infuse a bias towards inclusion, aligned with Abbott’s 2030 sustainability plan.  In addition, he is a Board member of the AMIE organization (Advancing Minorities Interest in Engineering) on behalf of Abbott.

Everett earned a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Pennsylvania State University – the Behrend College.
