AMIE Innovation Investment Program

The AMIE Innovation Investment Program provides a platform for AMIE Partners to invest in and engage with the HBCU Schools of Engineering across four (4) critical areas:​

Robust Research Capability – Develop Innovative, Collaborative Research Projects between Industry, Government Agencies and the HBCU Schools of Engineering.

Curriculum Development – Collaborate with HBCU Schools of Engineering faculty to review current curriculum and align with industry needs where needed.

HBCU Outreach/Pipeline Program – Support the Student Outreach and Pipeline Programs at the HBCU Schools of Engineering. 

HBCU Scholarship Program – The HBCU Scholarship Program will increase resources to the HBCU Schools of Engineering and enable the HBCU Schools of Engineering to recruit/retain students and increase their production of Minority Engineers.

ABOUT US
AMIE is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to expand corporate and government alliances with the (17) ABET accredited Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Schools of Engineering to implement and support programs to attract, educate, graduate and place underrepresented minority students in engineering and computer science careers. The (17) ABET accredited HBCU Schools of Engineering produce over 30% of the African American engineers in the United States while representing less than 3% of the Engineering Universities.
