DESCRIPTION
8th AMIE Design Challenge
Advancing Minorities’ Interest in Engineering (AMIE) hosts its 8th Annual AMIE Design Challenge at the 39th Black Engineer of the Year (BEYA) STEM Conference on Friday, February 14th from 7:00 PM–11:30 PM in Baltimore, Maryland. This AMIE signature program demonstrates the value of the AMIE collaborative partnership. It is also a great way to showcase the innovation and technical expertise of our students.

This year’s Design Challenge will focus on designing a solution to a problem that is negatively impacting society or impeding industry progress. The solutions should leverage an emerging technology and have the potential to disrupt existing markets, create new opportunities and solve complex challenges.
